Physical Properties (5)

The color of chlorine gas is a greenish-yellow. it's melting point is
-29.27°F (-34.04°C). Chlorine however is a gas at room temperature, and soluble in water and reacts with water when it disolves.

Chemical Properties (3)

• Chlorine will react with sodium to produce a purple colored gas like showin in the picture above.
• When chlorine is added to water it reacts with it then disolves to where it isn't visible to kill all of the disease causing organisms
• fluorine is a element that is simular to chlorine.
